Who you’re working with

I’m Joshua Jackai, founder and lead designer. The person on your first call is the person doing the research, the design and the build. Nothing gets handed off halfway through.

Every project starts with research into the buyer you’re trying to reach: what they search, what they compare, where they stall. On Rufous & Co, a Seattle interior design studio, and Cigar Connoisseurs, a Vancouver cigar retailer, that meant working with the founders on positioning before a single page was drawn.

Where the method comes from

For four years I ran funnels, landing pages and paid media at Copy Chief, a training community for copywriters. That’s where the habit formed: a page gets judged by what the next buyer does on it, not by how it looks in review.

How a project runs

Most builds go live 14 to 21 days from onboarding. Every engagement starts with a recorded baseline and reports against it at 90 days. Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA is part of the build, not an upsell.
